What if our company is a nonprofit and doesn’t have an owner?

  • For non-profit organizations, we recommend designating an individual to act as a representative for the organization. This person should be authorized to apply on behalf of the non-profit.
  • Regarding the SSN section of the application, the representative has two options:
    • Use the organization’s Employer Identification Number (EIN): This is the most common approach for non-profits.
    • Use placeholder information: If preferred, the representative may enter a default or temporary numerical value in place of an SSN. Please note that this placeholder is not a substitute for an actual SSN, but it allows the application to proceed without requiring an individual’s SSN.
