What is on-device tipping?

On-device tipping lets customers select a tip percentage — or a custom amount — directly on the payment terminal at checkout. Available preset percentages are shown on the terminal; check your Dashboard for the current options. Tip settings are disabled by default and configured at the terminal reader level. You can enable and adjust them through the Dashboard.

How do I configure on-device tipping?

To enable on-device tipping, log in to the Dashboard, navigate to the Terminals page, select the terminal, and toggle Tips to On.

4. Toggle the Tips option to On
