On-Device Tipping

On-device tipping allows customers to select a tip percentage directly on the payment terminal during the checkout process. The currently available tip options are 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, with an additional option for customers to input a custom amount.

Tip settings are configured at the terminal reader level and are disabled by default. You can enable and configure these settings through the Dashboard.

To configure on-device tipping:

  1. Navigate to the Terminals page
  2. Select the terminal you wish to configure
  3. Toggle the Tips option to On
