Create a payment link

How do I generate a payment link through the Dashboard?

You can generate a payment link directly from the Dashboard by navigating to the Payments section, creating a new payment, and copying the generated link to share with your customer. Once created, the link routes your customer to Paystri's Hosted Payment Page to complete their transaction securely.

To generate a payment link, follow the steps below in the Dashboard.

  1. Navigate to the Payments section of your account.
  2. Click the New Payment button and select the Payment Link option.
  3. Select your payment method options.
  4. Enter the payment description and amount.
  5. Click the Generate Payment Link button.
  6. Copy the payment link to your clipboard and share with the customer.

What happens after a customer uses a payment link?

Once shared, the customer is routed to the Hosted Payment Page to securely enter their payment details. A receipt is presented to the customer immediately upon payment, and they can revisit the payment link for a limited time after payment to view their receipt (refer to your account settings for the current receipt access duration).

By default, payment links expire after a set period from creation (refer to your account settings for the current expiration window). If a payment link expires before the customer completes payment, you will need to generate a new payment link.
